These were the cakes I made for The Superbowl. The first cake was a vanilla 1/4 sheet with buttercream icing and the football was chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing. The 2nd cake was butter cake sculpted into a football with chocolate buttercream icing and fondant accents. The 3rd cake was german chocolate cake with pecan and coconut icing, with fondant accents.
