Designer shoes and shoe boxes

I was asked to make a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. This was my first attempt in making gumpaste shoes. The shoes were placed on top of 4 shoe boxes made of white and chocolate cake with buttercream icing and fondant accents.

Transformer Cake

This was 1/2 sheet white cake with buttercream icing and fondant accents. The transformer character is made entirely out of fondant, patched together and outlined in buttercream icing.

Jewelry Party Cake

My friend was having a jewelry party and wanted a cake. This is what I came up with. I used some of the jewelry she was selling as my inspiration. This was a 1/4 sheet white cake with buttercream icing. All the jewelry was made by hand with fondant and then painted with luster dust.

1st Birthday Cake

This was a 3 tiered cake, vanilla cake with buttercream filling, chocolate cake with chocolate moouse filling and strawberry cake with strawberry fruit filling, iced in buttercream with fondant accents.
